Dr. Marc Schwartz credits his wonderful childhood dentist for sparking his early fascination with the field. He grew up in Belmont and knew he wanted to become a dentist since he was a young boy—he always knew that he wanted to help people, and he loved working with his hands. Dr. Schwartz never veered away from his dream career path and this shows in the care he provides to his patients.

Dr. Schwartz received his undergraduate degree in biological sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara. After earning his dental degree from the University of Southern California in 1995, he returned to the Bay area to open his private practice. He has always loved the area and knew that he wanted to set up practice here. He feels that the high-tech environment of the Silicon Valley is a perfect backdrop for an ultramodern dental practice. Dr. Schwartz is a perfectionist and being in private practice enables him to maintain the highest standards of care, ensuring that patients receive the most optimal treatments available.

Dr. Schwartz has extensive training in preventative and restorative dentistry, and he specializes in emergency dental services. He does his best to accommodate any last minute appointment requests so that his patients don’t have to live with oral pain, and offers extended hours when needed.

Dr. Schwartz feels that it is extremely important to stay apprised of revolutionary developments in dentistry. To do so, he participates regularly in various continuing education courses and maintains membership in organizations including the American Dental Association, and the San Mateo Dental Society.
